The nation state of Freeland had the unlikely start of spontaneous existence in a planter in Manchester 2014. Originally only 200 cubic centimetres of matter, Freeland eventually grew to take over half of what was originally Manchester. The land has a natural resistance to any kind of control and is, to date, indestructible. It was therefore declared 'open source' for use by anyone who the land will tolerate.OpenPlaques
